John McIntosh has worked exclusively in litigation and disputes since 1996. He is well respected by members of the judiciary, the bar and fellow legal practitioners. He is considered as being at the top of his field, having built a fierce reputation for successfully litigating complex and difficult cases with strategic and out-of-the-box thinking. Mr McIntosh acts for a range of clients, including small to medium sized businesses, up to multi-national corporations. Mr McIntosh is top tier trained, with several years’ experience at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashursts) and Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper).

Over the course of the last 15 years, Mr McIntosh has predominantly worked in commercial litigation. He considers himself a professional problem solver, who uses an array of skills and knowledge to achieve the best commercial outcome for his clients. He has considerable experience in contract disputes, building and construction disputes and testamentary capacity disputes. Mr McIntosh maintains strong ties to the music entertainment industry, having worked in commercial radio and live music entertainment for several decades, which has led to his acting in high profile disputes involving the Jacksons, Timbaland, Chris Brown, Pitbull and Mariah Carey.

Over the last decade, Mr McIntosh has expanded his family law practice, bringing his sharp perceptive intuition and unique problem-solving ability to an area of law which typically involves high emotions and vulnerable clients.
